What’s inside
Everything you need to make steady progress without the overwhelm.
The Stoplight System
Green tasks take 10–20 minutes, orange 30–60, and red can be done in an afternoon. Pick the right one for the day you’re having.
My actual 30-day list
Here’s my real list: messy, always changing, and definitely not perfect. It’s there to spark ideas, not to copy.
Bite-sized task ideas
Ideas for curriculum and planning, digital organization, your homeschool space, school supplies, high school, record keeping and more.
Your 30-day list
A blank list with stoplight circles, so you can plan your own 30 days.
Five tips for success
Keep tasks specific, choose tomorrow’s task today, give yourself grace, celebrate every win, and make it your own.
Progress, not perfection
You don’t have to finish everything on your list. You just have to keep moving forward.

A note from Katie
Preparing for a new homeschool year can feel overwhelming. There are books to order, planners to set up, shelves to organize and curriculum to prep, and it often feels like it all has to happen at once.
A few years ago, I tried something different. Instead of preparing my entire homeschool in one weekend, I committed to one bite-sized task each day. By the time school started, I wasn’t scrambling. I was ready.
This challenge isn’t about having the perfect homeschool. It’s about making consistent progress. Progress, not perfection.
