A note from Katie

If you’ve ever looked around in the middle of a homeschool day and wondered how one person is supposed to teach every subject, answer every question, check every assignment and still have something left at the end of the day, you are not alone.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned after homeschooling six kids for more than a decade: homeschooling your children does not mean you have to personally teach every single part of their education. Sometimes you’re the teacher, sometimes the coach, and sometimes the manager. All three are homeschooling.

My hope is that this guide helps you stop asking “What curriculum should I buy?” and start asking “What does my child need from me here?”
