Welcome to Life in the Mundane! My name is Katie and I am a wife and homeschool mom of 6 kids who range from 11years-3. Life is crazy at my house but one thing I have learned in my time as a wife and mother is that the meaningful events in life happen in the mundane moments. Wendy’s channel at Plan Prep Pray is a fantastic free resources when it comes to creating systems Wendy is one of the best go to resources for this topic.
Here is my favorite Homeschool Planner. It has really transformed the way I plan. I no longer worry about day to day assignments but rather the larger goals. It allows me to plan only once a month.
This is my favorite planner when it comes to the daily to-do’s and includes everything from meal planning, cleaning routines, to monthly, weekly, and daily calendars.
My Favorite Apps & online Resources For Systems
The Cozi App is a free resource that will help you track your calendar, your to-do lists, and meal planning digitally.
Trello is another great free tool that can help you track anything you could possibly desire. This video shows how we use it to track our cleaning system.
Lesson Pix is a really affordable tool that can help you create visuals for your kids including picture checklists and schedules.
